Video2URL processes account details, upload metadata, files, share settings, delivery events, and billing records only as needed to provide and secure the service.

Uploaded files are stored with infrastructure providers and may be processed to validate type, size, ownership, retention, and access controls. We do not sell uploaded files or personal data.

Authentication, payment, email, storage, security, and hosting providers receive only the data required for their role. We use access controls, encryption in transit, scoped credentials, and operational monitoring to reduce exposure.

Retention depends on the selected plan and link settings. Account, billing, abuse-prevention, and audit records may be kept as required for legal, security, and reliability purposes.

When someone opens or downloads a shared link, we record the IP address, device and browser family, approximate location, network provider, referring page, access time, and view or download event on the server. We use this data for link-owner delivery statistics, security, and abuse prevention. Raw IP addresses remain restricted to the backend, are not shown to link owners, and are never sent to AI; paid AI insights use redacted aggregate statistics only. The current release does not automatically delete raw delivery events. Contact us to exercise applicable data rights.
